NHI of Fangda Group Makes a Breakthrough: Four Cone Crushers Set New Assembly Time Record
On November 9th, reporters learned from NH of Fangda Group that during the execution of an overseas project, the company not only successfully fulfilled the assembly task of four medium and fine crushing cone crushers but also achieved the fastest assembly speed for this product through close coordination among various departments.
The overseas project involves a total of six cone crushers, with two already delivered. The remaining four are facing tight delivery schedules. Based on the commissioning experience of the first two crushers, NHI systematically sorted out the key technical difficulties in the assembly and commissioning processes, including cumulative tolerances, babbitt bearing grinding, and spindle hot fitting. The company organized technical sessions across workshops, conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as clearance adjustment of the driving unit and debugging of the electrical control system, and further improved the assembly process by leveraging data parameters from already assembled products, thereby enhancing assembly efficiency and commissioning success rate at the source. The production team conducted intensive work day and night, completing the urgent assembly task as required and achieving one-time successful commissioning of the equipment, which showcased their high responsibility and proficient craftsmanship. During commissioning, night-shift personnel from the Technical Quality Department and the design & commissioning team collaborated efficiently, reducing the original several-day commissioning cycle to within 24 hours, which provided solid support for the equipment's on-schedule delivery. The efficient delivery of these four cone crushers has set NHI’s fastest record for the assembly and commissioning of similar products.
